Amuta Stone
Amuta Okwute, who is affectionately known as Amuta Stone; is a Singer/Storyteller who was born in Zaria, Kaduna state and grew up in Port Harcourt, Rivers state, and Abuja, Nigeria.
Amuta’s father is from Kogi state, Nigeria and her mother is from Ebonyi state, Nigeria. So, she is both Igala and Igbo.
She is a Business Information Systems graduate from UCSI University, Malaysia. As well as a website developer.
She began her Secondary School education in Word of Faith Benin City and ended in Command Day Secondary School, Abuja, Nigeria.
Amuta Stone’s artistic traits are a unique blend. She fuses her music with her love of storytelling.
As you listen to her music, You’ll experience jazz, touches of blues, electronic music & hip hop influences and stirrings of soul. Hence Soulful Ballad is a befitting description.
Amuta desires to use her music to spread the message of Peace, Love and Light to anyone that experiences it. As well as to share words of encouragement with her listeners.

Nigerian Special Awards 2021 at the Aso Villa
Democracy Works Book Launch by Former President Olusegun Obasanjo, she wrote and recorded one of the songs in the album that was released with the book.
This led to her collaborating with Bobi Wine on a song that provided hope to Africans during the COVID-19 lockdown.
She has performed alongside Asa, Dbanj, MI, Made Kuti, Tu Face amongst many others.
